There have been four major pianos in Jerry's life. His interest in the piano began by tinkering with the family Heintzman as a child, continued with the upkeep of his Yamaha CP70 electric grand as a young musician, rekindled by his church's Yamaha C3, and brought to fruition by his current muse, his own Yamaha C7.

Jerry is also a recording studio owner and operator, and relies upon a finely tuned piano for recording purposes. This was Jerry's motivation for him to learn to become a piano tuner, combining his technical know how, with the heart of an artist.

Jerry was mentored by Ed Greening, a local piano tuner with decades of wisdom and experience.

Jerry holds a BComm from the U of C, works as a freelance musician, and owns and operates Proppe Productions, producing recording projects.

Jerry is the piano tuner for Long & McQuade Calgary, and for the Calgary Catholic School Board.
